Thurston Consulting Ltd (TCL) was formed in 1973 in Christchurch New Zealand. Since then, TCL has evolved and grown into a highly skilled set of engineers providing mechanical and sustainable engineering services including condition assessments for construction companies, architects, property owners, property managers, developers, and project managers.

Our team has qualified chartered engineers in the mechanical building services discipline that are approved as high risk producer statement authors under the Auckland council. We also have qualified sustainability engineers that can provide Green Star and Home Star consulting services and assessments for your project.
Internal quality systems are implemented throughout the company to ensure procedures and documentation are uniform, correct and exceed the requirements of the project design brief.
Our quality systems are based on the ISO set of quality procedures. These provide you with assurance and easily integrate into external quality systems such as Engineering New Zealand, ACENZ documentation.
